Subject: Great recording! Show's okay
This recording is FANTASTIC!! Great balance of bass, ambience, crowd noise, etc. One of the better recordings from HH that I've heard. The show was an absolute blast to be at but was definitely the weakest of the weekend.

Highlights:

Cedar Laurels
Rivertrance ending - the aerialist on the balloon + the UFO was ridiculous)
Joyful Sound - didn't "get" this song until this night. The EOTO-ish ending is not my thing but the bass synth throughout the song is a great addition and Kang does a bunch of his psychedelic effects. This song was straight up digital to me at the time.
It Is What It Is - Kang shreds the peak!
Orion's Belt - Not as triumphant as early 00's versions but the placement within the show is great.

Texas encore was a great way to finish the night but the jam wasn't too great.

The AUDs from this weekend are much better than the SBDs for sure. Thanks Joe!

Subject: Order of Tracks
The problem with the Tracks being out of order has been corrected.

Sorry,
Joe

Subject: and INSIDE Country Road Blues
is a very sweet little 'Mind Left Body jam' a la good ol' Grateful Dead from roughly 5:15 - 8:30. Wondered if I imagined it on site, but after checking this very nice recording I'm glad to see that THAT wasn't a hallucination.

Subject: Black Clouds track out of order`
Joe - Thanks for the fantastic pull from this show. An epic night for sure...aliens and flying saucers and acrobats oh my...

The first Black Clouds track here is actually the second half of the sandwich and should be placed after Ring Of Fire.

Loving hearing this again. Cheers!

Subject: A better idea
Artists are paid a percentage of the tickets prices. They get screwed when scalpers resell and higher prices and don't share the profits. About time ban this practice and prosecute anybody who resells a ticket for more than face value. Time to outlaw Stubhub.com which does not promote it's own shows and doesn't own any sports franchises either...

Subject: Kind of upset...but still...
I was not at this show. I'll be honest, I am very upset about it. I'd been to every SCI show in Oregon for the last 15 years, but could not make it to this one because the fu%$in' ticket companies bought up all the tickets in like 30 minutes, and then turned around to sell them at like $700 a pop! Cheese, if your readin this, please please please limit the amount of ticket a single buyer can purshase to like 4 so the rest of us can come to the incident.
That all being said...WOW! what a show!!!!
